The Legend of Kung Fu shares an inspiring story of a young boy, Chun Yi, in a magical tale told by an ancient Kung Fu Master. The Legend of Kung Fu has wowed and amazed audiences worldwide with its' unique combination of traditional martial arts skill, aerial ballet, dance and music. Designated as the main show of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Chun Yi - The Legend of Kung Fu has been performed more than 3000 times worldwide. With a cast of 65 performers, it is one of the largest theatrical productions in Branson, immersing audiences in magnificent scenery, lighting, sound and special effects as the tale unfolds.

The Legend of Kung Fu began their rich tradition dating back several hundred years, when the ancient art of Kung Fu began its’ practice as a peaceful defense. Created by watching animals and their graceful art of protecting their young and themselves, The Chinese evolved this ancient art. The White House Theatre in Branson is home to The Legend of Kung Fu where Beijing meets Broadway LIVE in Branson.

Legend of Kung Fu is steeped in rich tradition and includes not only the art of Kung Fu, but aerial ballet, acrobatics, Tia Chi and dance. This show is the story of a young boy studying to become a man through the art of Kung Fu. The show, narrated in English, takes audiences on a journey as he learns the trials of life including discipline, respect for others, temptation, loyalty, friendship, sacrifices and much more. Orchestrated to music created in Beijing, it is beautifully captivating and enjoyed by audiences of all ages. Having toured The United Kingdom, China, Canada, Russia and Japan, they have found a home in Branson.
