The Branson Entertainment scene is busy making 2014 announcements this time of year. The Oakridge Boys Theatre has announced that country music legend Wynonna Judd will be performing October 18th and November 8th live onstage in the Live Music Capitol of the World-Branson, Missouri. This will be Wynonna’s first appearance in Branson, MO.
Wynonna became famous in the mid 80’s alongside her mother, Naomi Judd in their country music duo "The Judds.” Together they released seven albums racking up 26 chart topping singles and 14 number one hits. Wynonna began her solo career in 1991 after the mother/daughter duo disbanded. Wynonna has released eight studio albums, a live album, a holiday album and two compilation albums in addition to charting more than 20 singles of her own. Over her solo career Wynonna has sold over 10 million albums. Some of her better know hits are "She Is His Only Need", "I Saw the Light," "No One Else on Earth" and "My Strongest Weakness.” All 4 singles reached number one on the U.S. country singles charts consecutively.
2014 is a busy year for Wynonna not only will she perform live on stage in Branson, Missouri, the live music capitol of the world, she is set to release a new album and just released her own line of shoes ”Got Sole.” She is not only a country music superstar; Wynonna is also one of New York Times best selling authors.
